Terms of engagement

Psychotherapy/Counselling:

• I will make a regular slot(s) available to the client each week.

• I will give at least one months notice of breaks on my part. 

• If, under extraordinary circumstances, I have to cancel a session I will give as much notice as possible and I will do my utmost to reschedule the session. If the session cannot be rescheduled to the client's convenience, there will be no charge.

• Where the client gives reasonable notice of a diary problem, I will endeavour to reschedule the session, providing this is not so frequent as to disrupt the rhythm of the work.

• Payment is due for any scheduled session missed by the client for any reason.

• I will invoice at the month end and I expect payment by cheque at the next session.

• If a client’s circumstances change during the work I am open to renegotiating the fee and session times as appropriate.
